CSR: Scafell Pike Hike
Having fully recovered from last year's Three Peaks Challenge, we decided to embark on our next annual charity challenge: hiking the Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England.
Located in the Lake District, the 14 mile hike promised breathtaking views, as well as a tough climb. Our goal was to get all of our staff - we're a broad range of ages and abilities - to the top (and safely back down).
The weather was not on our side and at the top of Scafell Pike deteriorated further. We howling gales and rain, but we all made it up and back down in one piece, although there were a few aches and pains to talk about on our return to the office on Monday.
We are raising money for our charity partners - Spear and North Yorkshire Youth, organisations who both share the aim of helping young people realise their potential, local to our respective offices in London and Harrogate.
Thank you to all those who sponsored us and our charity partners - we really appreciate your support. If you haven't done so already, there's still time to donate: head to our fundraising page.
