Business Analyst

Our client is a large financial services organisation based in Edinburgh. This role will support the Data Development Design team which acts as a centralised Business Intelligence Unit within a particular division of the organization. You will be required to work with the frontline business units and IT to support the businesses information needs. You will support regulatory reporting and analysis during a period of change across the divisional data warehouse. Your responsibilities will also include the review and approval of requirements documentation and to act as the team representative on project meetings.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced business analyst with proven data warehouse project experience. You will have a good understanding of data warehouse design principles and experience of using SQL. Candidates will have proven experience of writing report documentation and will be able to communicate information efficiently to a varied audience. Preferably, candidates will also have SAS query skills, experience of using Quality Centre and Business Objects report writing experience. Candidates must have financial services experience.
