Our client is a large financial services organisation based in the South West. This role is required to assist the Programme and Project Managers within the PMO in the delivery of a large scale change programme. By working closely with the project teams you will ensure project governance, control and planning is maintained. You will provide monthly updates on the financial performance versus budget and liaise with the finance team to ensure the financial forecast is on track. You will also prepare PowerPoint presentations for programme steering meetings and will provide monthly updates on resource changes to ensure resource trackers are kept online.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of supporting projects within a large scale business environment, particularly those relating to integration and change. Candidates must have experience of monitoring project governance and ensuring logs are completed to a high standard. You will possess strong verbal and written communications skills and be able to present reports to different business areas. You must be experienced in using MS Project, Excel and Powerpoint. Candidates must have financial services experience.
