Project Accountant

Our client is a large financial services organisation based in Edinburgh. This role is required to support the regulatory reporting team through a period of integration. You will use your knowledge of project based financial/regulatory reporting and business processes to fully support to the system migration project. You will obtain project documentation for the assigned workstreams and you will formulate a plan for these to run against. You will also issue testing and go-live requirements to the business and work with them to deliver robust regulatory reporting on the migration.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a full understanding of regulatory reporting. You will also have strong project management background within a large financial services environment. Strong personal impact and the ability to get key points across at challenging meetings is essential. You will have experience of working in a change environment and be able to build key working relationships with the specific business areas. Candidates must have financial services experience.
